Ornament with snowflake

12 stripes- 10 or 12 cm on 0,5 cm. (On the picture I have 12 cm stripes, that’s why ornament has a shape of pumpkin, but better to cut 10 cm stripes).

5 pieces- 3,5 cm on 4,5 cm.

12 cm stripe on 1 cm.

2 circles 2 cm diameter

1 piece 4,5 cm on 3 ( I also used 1 cm stripe, same 4,5 cm length for making a tube)

So, these last 2 pieces…Make a tube 4,5 cm long, glue a 1 cm stripe inside, connecting both sides of foam.

Fold on half 4,5 cm on 3,5 cm pieces and cut it, making a leaf shape. Cut stripes in the middle, not cutting till the end. Edges still should be connected. Make 3 cuts and cut out the middle, like on the picture.

Glue top piece to the bottom, middle piece fold and glue sides together. Do it with each leaf.

Glue on the tube circles on both sides and attach leaves on one circle. Cut sides on 10 (12) cm stripes, in order it was pointy.

Attach stripes from opposite side of same circle where snowflake is. In order it was even, do one by one around, where middle of the leaves at, after fill areas in with the rest of them.

Star gluing other ends of stripes to another circle.

Make a snail from 1 cm on 12 cm stripe with a thread or ribbon.

Glue on the top of ornament for hanging it on the Christmas tree.

Glue the edges of longer leaves on snowflake to the ornament and it is ready.

Here is previous try with 10 cm length stripes, looks better I think.
